All-Star game is dedicated to Licey Chosen
SANTO DOMINGO, "The president of the Dominican Summer League, Orlando Diaz said this year's All-Star game will be devoted to baseball sets of the capital, the Licey Tigers and Lions of the Chosen.
In a document issued by the office of public relations for the league, Diaz said "this was an idea that was coming for some time stroking due to a large study that has emerged in the revival of the eternal rivalry of these two giants of local ball "
We want to make sure that by the teams of the American League and National League of our circuit will use color shirts each set Red and Blue.
There will be a pre-game ceremony where they handed a recognition of the two teams.
This year the all-star game will be held at the Quisqueya Stadium, Sunday July 18 at 10:00 am with the participation of key prospects major league organizations, involved in the current tournament.
