David Freese Nears Rehab Assignment; Colby Rasmus In, Ryan Ludwick Out; Seth Blair Signs; Whitey Herzog Ceremony
Cardinals third baseman David Freese, out of action since June 27 and hindered for a couple of weeks before that by an ankle injury, said Friday night he hoped to be able to go to Class AAA Memphis on a rehabilitation option as early as Sunday or Monday.
