The St. Louis Cardinals have made clear that when it comes to the approaching non-waiver trade deadline and their wish list of additions, the minor-league cupboard isn't going to be much help. Having spent their prospect depth last season, they recognize now that some deals could mean moving a piece off the major-league roster.
