The Midwest League office has officially confirmed that the Quad Cities River Bandits have clinched a spot in the 2010 Midwest League Playoffs. Quad Cities now has 40 wins while the trailing Clinton LumberKings can finish with no more the 39 wins guaranteeing the Bandits a spot in the postseason. The first and second place teams in the first half of both the Western and Eastern Division of the Midwest League are awarded a spot in the postseason playoffs, beginning on Wednesday, September 8.
