Cardinals manager Tony La Russa has installed Felipe Lopez as tonight’s third baseman against Arizona Diamondbacks starter Rodrigo Lopez. Lopez is coming off an eventful weekend in which he slammed a game-winning grand slam against the New York Mets on Friday then returned the next day to serve as an 18th-inning stopper in a 20-inning loss to the Metropolitans. Lopez also contributed two hits in last Wednesday’s series finale against the Houston Astros.
