Monday's Bernie Bytes: Kyle Lohse To Start...

Kyle Lohse makes the start Monday night as the Cardinals open a four-game home series against Atlanta. The Braves have the pitching to contend for the postseason but are hitting only .228 as a team. After struggling early, allowing 13 ER in 16 innings, Lohse figures to have a good chance to crank out a quality start in this one. Since joining the Cardinals in 2008, Lohse has had a rather extreme home/road split. In 27 starts on the road, his ERA is 5.44. But in 32 starts at Busch Stadium, Lohse is 13-7 with a 3.42 ERA
