Jason LaRue Likely To Go On Disabled List; Mark McGwire Is Back; Albert Pujols Eclipses Eddie Mathews; David Freese Relieved

Cardinals catcher Jason LaRue said he'll have to experience "significant" improvement in his strained hamstring to avoid going on the disabled list as early as Wednesday. Manager Tony La Russa said the team was willing to wait for improvement because of today's off day but added that it's "more likely than not" the backup catcher will go on the DL.
