Second-year center fielder Colby Rasmus was scratched from the starting lineup this afternoon because of soreness in his right knee. An announcement in the press box described the move as precautionary. Rasmus got cleated in his right knee while trying to break up a double play in Wednesday’s game. During an in-game interview with ESPN he said that the knee was fine and the Cardinals just wanted to give “it another day.”
