On Friday, the St. Louis Cardinals’ top four clubs once again faced each other as Memphis took on Springfield and Palm Beach opposed Quad Cities.

As outlined over the course of several recent entries, the St. Louis Cardinals are taking a wait-and-see approach to where top prospect Shelby Miller will pitch at the start of this season. The plan entering this spring was to ship Miller up to Low-A Quad Cities, where he had a brief appearance last season. That has changed somewhat because of the impression Miller has made this spring.
