Indians Have Decision To Make On Anthony Reyes

The Indians acquired Reyes in a trade with the Cardinals just before the Trade Deadline in 2008, and he posted a 1.83 ERA in six August and September starts before getting shut down with right elbow trouble. The elbow condition reared its ugly head again eight starts into Reyes' 2009 campaign, and it prompted reconstructive surgery on June 12.

Reyes won't be ready to pitch in the bigs until midseason, at the earliest, so the Indians will have to decide if the potential depth he'd provide is worth the cost of keeping him.
