Texas League
Casey Mulligan, Springfield
2-0, 0.00 ERA, 4 G, 2 SV, 4 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 6 SO
The 21-year-old Mulligan excelled in three different locations this season, with Springfield representing his final (and most advanced) destination. He appeared in four games this past week and tossed a scoreless inning in each, notching a save in the first two outings and a victory in the latter two. The saves were his first at the Double-A level, while the wins improved his record with Springfield to 3-0. Mulligan combined to go 6-2 with a 1.45 ERA on the season, striking out 97 batters over 68 1/3 innings pitched.

New York-Penn League
Kyle Conley, Batavia

.429 (12-28), 4 R, 3 2B, 0 3B, 0 HR, 8 RBI, 3 BB, 6 SO, 2 SB, .857 SLG
Conley played the hero in Batavia's 8-7 win over State College on Aug. 31, as his walk-off RBI single capped a three-hit day. That ballgame set the tone for the rest of the week and the Washington native hit safely in his final five games while driving in eight runs. Conley's stellar conclusion to the season put an exclamation point on his time in Batavia, where he managed to hit .385 with eight homers and 23 RBIs following an early August demotion from Class A Quad Cities.
