A bad day in the big leagues is better than a good day in the minors every time.
And if Bobby Scales wasn't sure of that after 10 years of minor-league baseball, the Cubs rookie got a chance to test the theory Saturday in St. Louis when his rough day included one of the defining moments in this wayward Cubs season -- right up there with Ryan Dempster breaking his toe falling over the dugout rail.
