It's another amazingly nice night at Busch Stadium, with a game-time temp of 85 degrees. Thanks to a nice breeze it feels milder than that.

The last time righthanded rookie Mitchell Boggs came up from Class AAA Memphis to make a spot start for the Cardinals, he was sent back to Memphis the next day. But he still was here in the clubhouse tonight and manager Tony La Russa said, “If he goes down, he’s down for 10 days. We don’t want to that to happen.”
