After firing a few fastballs for the Cardinals' brass in an informal session at Busch Stadium's bullpen Tuesday, first-round pick Shelby Miller will report to the team's low Class A affiliate today for his first assignment as a pro. The Cardinals, who have adopted an aggressive approach with high-end prospects, are starting the high school righthander in Quad Cities hoping it will push him to be a starter there next spring.
