Chris Carpenter tries to join his teammate Adam Wainwright in the 15 win club as the Cardinals take on the Houston Astros and Brian Moehler. Carpenter, with 14 wins in 21 starts has the highest percentage of starts won among pitchers with at least 15 starts. Moehler has pitched well against the Cardinals this season, posting a 2.77 ERA in two starts. He’s allowed St. Louis just one home run.
