The Cardinals officially welcomed top Draft pick Shelby Miller to the organization on Tuesday when he signed the dotted line on his first professional contract and threw in the Cardinals' bullpen.

When Brownwood (Tex.) high school product Shelby Miller, the Cardinals’ top draft pick who signed for $2.875 million last week, took to the Busch Stadium bullpen mound this afternoon, there were many luminaries in attendance either inside or outside the bullpen in right field.
