Troy Glaus played his first complete game in left field Monday night during the Memphis Redbirds’ 7-6 loss to the Nashville Sounds. The Cardinals’ starting third baseman last year, on a rehab assignment for muscle and rotator cuff concerns that preclude him from handling his regular position, was 2-for-4 with a walk and a ninth-inning RBI. Just as important, he handled three routine fly balls rather, well, routinely.
