Global Spectrum, the newly named managers of AutoZone Park and the Memphis Redbirds, are close to naming a new general manager.
Sources close to the situation say the person targeted for the position is Benjamin Weiss, general manager of the Mullins Center, a multi-purpose arena on the campus of the University of Massachusetts.
