The Dodgers and Cardinals battle again with another good pitching matchup as Chad Billingsley takes on Adam Wainwright. Billingsley’s ERA has risen every month this season, mostly as his home runs allowed go up. He comes into tonight’s contest with a 6.97 July mark as he’s allowed four home runs in 20 2/3 innings. Wainwright is having the best month of his career, striking out more than a batter per inning for the first time this season.
