Trey Hearne picked up his league-leading eighth win in dramatic fashion on June 26, as the win gave Springfield a first-half crown. His pitching wasn't even the most impressive thing about his week. He also hit the first inside-the-park home run by a Springfield player in the team's history. He ended the game 1-for-1 with a sacrifice fly and a hit-by-pitch. With his terrific efforts both offensively and defensively there is no question as to why Hearne was named Pitcher of the Week.
