Just short of a Rick Vaughn groupie, St. Louis Cardinals manager Tony La Russa is a peppy fan of the movie “Major League”, which is being, well, celebrated this weekend at Progressive Field on the film’s 20th anniversary. Hence, the snazzy 1988 threads the teams will be wearing this afternoon, right down to the piping and sans-a-belt pants.
