In one interminable inning Sunday, the Cardinals lost third baseman Khalil Greene to a possible purpose pitch, the Kansas City Royals lost starting pitcher Gil Meche to the aftershocks of a recent 132-pitch outing and the soon-to-be opened Royals Hall of Fame nearly lost a pane of glass when Albert Pujols tried to crash the party.
