Nicaraguan National Championship 5-12-09


Edgard Montiel (Ex-DSL) did not play all weekend long for Boer-Managua.

Alvaro Lopez made one start, pitching 8.2 innings anmd allowing five hits, one earned run, one walk, and struck out two for the loss (6-2). His ERA rose from 0.79 to 0.83 on the season.

Walter Santos (Ex-DSL) out for the remainder of the season with an arm injury.

Elmer Reyes, recently signed by the Atlanta Braves, finished up his season batting .303 (46-for-152) with six doubles, seven triples, one home run, 15 RBIs, 37 runs, nine walks, two stolen bases, and 16 strikeouts. He also committed 17 errors in 42 games.
