Brett Tomko Dealing With Injuries, But Still In Yankees' Plans

With so many relievers struggling, it is curious to see the veteran Brett Tomko still toiling for Class AAA Scranton/Wilkes-Barre despite a 0.69 earned run average. Tomko has been dealing with a minor oblique strain but is very much in the Yankees’ plans. “I’m sure you’re going to see him soon enough,” General Manager Brian Cashman said. “He’s doing everything he can do, and he’s a big choice for us.”
