Busy day at Hammons Field: Right-handed reliever Eddie Degerman is expected to join the Springfield Cardinals soon after being promoted from High-A Palm Beach today. Kenny Maiques was sent to the Gulf Coast League (rookie ball) team after struggling with his control in Double-A.
