Russell Branyan To Split Time At Mariners First Base

The Mariners' crowd at first base became smaller on Friday morning.

Seattle cleared the way for veterans Russell Branyan and Mike Sweeney to get the majority of the playing time for the remainder of Spring Training by sending Bryan LaHair and Mike Carp to the Minor Leagues.
