Justin Knoff has signed a contract for the 2009 season to pitch for Sussex Skyhawks in the Can Am League.
Knoff made nine starts posting a 3-1 record and 3.74 ERA in 2008 for Sussex. He allowed 53 hits, 24 runs (22 earned), three home runs, hit six batters, walked 13, and struck out 33 over 53 innings.
He pitched in the St. Louis Cardinals organization in 2005 at Single-A Quad Cities and A-Advanced Palm Beach.
Sussex finished the 2008 season with a 52-42 record and went on to win the 2008 Can Am League championship.
