Long Island Ducks team officials today announced the signing of pitcher Jason Simontacchi. The 34-year-old righty returns to the Atlantic League after pitching for the Bridgeport Bluefish in 2006. Last season, Simontacchi spent most of the season at the big league level with Washington, earning six wins in 13 starts for the Nationals.
