Ex-Cardinal Ernie Broglio Will Throw Out 1st Pitch At Stockton's(Athletics Single A) Opener

The Ports will honor about 12 of their former players before Saturday's 7:05 p.m. game.

The franchise will showcase a banner that highlights the Ports' 10 California League championship teams, and former Port Ernie Broglio will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

Broglio, a San Jose resident who pitched for the Ports in 1955, went on to win 20 games with the St. Louis Cardinals, who traded him for Lou Brock.
