At 8 AM central time Friday morning, it became official - Louie the LumberKing is now King of mascots in the state of Iowa. A heated battle with nearby rival Quad Cities went from a close battle to a blowout as Louie took 65% of nearly 26,000 votes to defeat the unnamed River Bandits mascot. The victory sends the second-seeded LumberKings mascot on to the Final Four of CNBC.com's Minor League Logo Contest.
