Cardinals Still Interested In Glendon Rusch

Free-agent left-hander Glendon Rusch, who has spent the past five seasons pitching for the Brewers and Cubs, is drawing interest from three other NL Central teams — the Reds, Astros and Cardinals. If Rusch signs with the Reds, he could reunite with former Cubs manager Dusty Baker and pitching coach Dick Pole. The Reds have been pursuing starting pitchers in trades, but are unwilling to trade their top position prospect, outfielder Jay Bruce.
