Rolen, miffed that Tony La Russa is back in St. Louis, also might be traded before Opening Day. Rolen is and may always be injury prone, but he also provides good glove work and right-handed power. As well, Rolen's a "change of scenery" type who might enjoy a performance boost with a new team. On the downside, any team that acquires Rolen will be on the hook for the final three years and $36 million of his contract (unless, of course, the Cardinals agree to pick up some of the tab).
