Jack Clark & Kevin Slaten Fire Back Over Albert Pujols Firing
After being fired from Sports-Talker WGNU in St. Louis, both Jack Clark and Kevin Slaten said they plan to take action against the station. Clark said former St. Louis Cardinals player Albert Pujols (pictured) had used performance enhancing drugs. Pujols responded with a strong denial and said he would sue the radio station and Clark. Slaten told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, “I don’t know what Albert Pujols’ damages are, but there are a lot of damages for me. Albert Pujols didn’t even mention my name. Why does this fall on me?”

Kevin Slaten Settles With KFNS
Kevin Slaten said Thursday his wrongful termination lawsuit against KFNS (590 AM) has been settled, 2 1/2 years after he was fired following a controversial interview with Cards pitching coach Dave Duncan. Slaten said he isn't permitted to discuss financial terms but said, "I'm very happy, I feel vindicated.'' KFNS is under different ownership now.
