St. Louis Cardinals fans won't hear names like Dirk Kinney, Dave Ricketts, Mike Shildt, Mark DeJohn, Oliver Marmol, and Steve Turco often. Those are the names of managers, coaches, and scouts who tirelessly mold young men into professional baseball players. They take baby birds out of a nest and turn them into high flying Cardinals that you may one day see donning the birds on the bat at Busch Stadium.
