1875 When There Were Two St. Louis Teams, Part One

Before there was the National League in 1876 a professional league called the National Association was the big league for baseball. While it had its shortcomings and was only in business from 1871-75 it was the first pro league of baseball. St. Louis did not appear in the NA until its final year and that year two teams played in the Association.
