One Casualty Of 1918 Pandemic Was Catcher, Army Private Harry 'Husky' Glenn

In his hometown newspaper on Sept. 5, 1918, near the news of “Shoeless” Joe Jackson injuring his foot while playing in the Delaware River Shipbuilding League and a note about a Cubs owner and “hot dog king of the Federal League” losing a “fortune” close to $200,000, former Cardinals catcher Harry Glenn had the biggest headline.
