On the last day of the 2011 season, the St. Louis Cardinals needed two things to happen to clinch a spot in the Postseason – an STL win and an Atlanta Braves loss. They took care of their part with the 8-0 victory against Houston, but the Braves game went into 13 innings against Philadelphia.
