Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 9-9-19: Alex Mejia Singles & Drives In One Run; Zach Phillips Strikes Out One & Holds Two Inherited Runners On Base Over One & A Third Hitless/Scoreless Innings; Rainel Rosario Singles Twice & Walks

Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Saltillo) started in left field and batted leadoff.  2-for-3 with one run, one walk, one strikeout, and one throwing error.

Saltillo beat Tijuana 5-0

Alex Mejia (former St. Louis-Monclova) started at shortstop and moved to third base, batting eighth.  1-for-3 with one RBI and one sacrifice.
Zach Phillips (former Memphis-Monclova) entered in the fourth and pitched 1.1 innings.  He allowed no hits or runs, and struck one out.  (p-s:14-9)(g/f:1-1)(ir-s:2-0)
