The question that I didn't hear asked was why take Ponce De Leone out when he's cruising. I'm guessing it was the 100 pitch count? That's why baseball makes you scratch your head. The guy can't throw 10 more pitches? Waino pitced over 125 last timeout and he's 37 years old. n
preserving a young arm is much more important than an old arm with not much else to lose.
