Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 7-4-19: Xavier Scruggs Singles Twice & Hits A Three-Run Homer; Raniel Rosario Doubles, Walks, & Drives In Two Runs; Zach Phillips Strikes Out One Over One Hitless/Scoreless Inning

Cedric Hunter (former Memphis-Leon) started in centerfield and batted third.  0-for-4 with one run.

Zach Phillips (former Memphis-Monclova) entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs, and struck one out.  (p-s:13-10)(g/f:0-1)

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted leadoff.  1-for-3 with one strikeout and assisted in one double play.

Xavier Scruggs (former St. Louis-Yucatan) started at first base and batted seventh.  3-for-4 with one home run, three RBIs, three runs, and assisted in two double plays.

Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Saltillo) started in left field and batted leadoff.  1-for-4 with one double, two RBIs, one run, one walk, and one strikeout.

Saltillo beat Tabasco 4-0

Kevin Medrano (former 2011 draft selection-Mexico) entered late in the game in right field and batted second.  2-for-2 at the plate.

Dos Laredos beat Mexico 4-2

Iker Franco (former Springfield-Oaxaca) started at catcher and batted eighth.  0-for-4 with one strikeout and grounded into one double play.

Carlos Peguero (former Memphis-Tijuana) started in right field and batted seventh.  0-for-3 with two strikeouts.
