Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 6-2-19: Niko Vasquez Singles Twice & Hits A Solo Home Run; Alex Mejia Singles Twice, Doubles, & Drives In One Run; Cedric Hunter Double & Knocks In One Run

Cedric Hunter (former Memphis-Leon) started in right field and batted sixth.  1-for-4 with one double, one RBI, two runs, and one strikeout.

Leon beat Puebla 10-8

Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Tijuana) started at third base and batted eighth.  3-for-5 with one home run, one RBI, two runs, and two strikeouts.
Maikel Cleto (former St. Louis-Tijuana) entered in the seventh and pitched to five batters.  He allowed two hits, three earned runs, two walks, and hit one batter.  (p-s:16-6)(ir-s:1-1)

Laguna beat Tijuana 13-10

Kevin Medrano (former 2011 draft selection-Mexico) started in left field and batted ninth.  3-for-4 with one run.

Quintana Roo beat Mexico 10-4

Tabasco beat Oaxaca 9-8

Alex Mejia (former St. Louis-Monclova) started at shortstop and batted ninth.  3-for-4 with one double, one RBI, and one strikeout.
Zach Phillips (former Memphis-Monclova) entered in the sixth and pitched tp two batters.  He allowed two hits and one earned run for the blown save (1) and losing decision (1-2).  (p-s:11-7)(ir-s:1-1)
Fernando Salas (former St. Louis-Monclova) entered in the eighth and pitched one inning.  He allowed one hit, one unearned run, one throwing error, and struck one out.  (p-s:14-11)(g/f:3-0)
