Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 6-10-19: Cedric Hunter Walks & Hits A two-Run Homer; Kevin Medrano & Richy Pedroza Each Single Twice & Drive In One Run

Kevin Medrano (former 2011 draft selection-Mexico) started at second base and batted ninth.  2-for-4 with one two-out RBI and one caught stealing.

Cedric Hunter (former Memphis-Leon) started in right field and batted third.  1-for-4 with one home run, two RBIs, one run, one walk, and one strikeout.

Leon beat Mexico 5-3

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted second.  2-for-7 with one two-out RBI, one run, one stolen base, two strikeouts, and assisted in two double plays.

Durango beat Aguascalientes 7-6 in 14 innings

Zach Phillips (former Memphis-Monclova) entered in the eighth and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs, and struck two out for the hold (5).  (p-s:10-7)(g/f:1-0)

Monclova beat Dos Laredos 7-4

Alex Mejia (former St. Louis-Monclova) was placed on the reserve list.
