Former Cardinals Playing In Puerto Rican Double-A League 5-5-19



Javier Machuca (former GCL-Lajas) entered in the sixth and pitched 3.2 innings.  He allowed three hits, two runs (one earned), two walks, and struck seven out for the winning decision.

Luis Mateo (former Memphis-Fajardo) 4-for-6 with one home run, three RBIs, and two runs.

Fajardo beat Loiza 13-8 in game one of doubleheader

Christian Rosa (former Batavia-Loiza) 1-for-3 with one run.

Loiza beat Fajardo 9-3 in game two of doubleheader

Ivan Maldonado (former MiLB tryout-Maunabo) started and pitched seven innings.  He allowed six hits, three runs (one earned), two walks, and struck five out for the losing decision.

Patillas beat Maunabo 7-2 in game one of doubleheader

Luis Montanez (former Memphis-Anasco) 1-for-3 with one RBI and one hit by pitch.

Florida beat Anasco 8-5 in game one of doubleheader

Juan Caballero (former Johnson City-Salinas) started and pitched seven innings.  He allowed 12 hits, three earned runs, and struck four out for the losing decision.
