Former Cardinals Playing in The Mexican League 5-31-19: Nestor Molina Strikes Out Eight & Allows One Run Over Eight Innings; Rainel Rosario Singles, Homers, & Drives In Two Runs; Alex Mejia Singles & Hits A Solo Home Run

Pedro Rodriguez (former MiLB signing-Oaxaca) entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed two hits, no runs, and struck two out for the save (7).  (p-s:23-15)


Cedric Hunter (former Memphis-Leon) started in right field and batted sixth.  1-for-4 with one double.


Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Saltillo) started in right field and batted fourth.  2-for-4 with one home run, two RBIs, one run, one strikeout, and one throwing error.

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted second.  3-for-3 with one RBI, one walk, and one sacrifice.
Nestor Molina (former MiLB signing-Aguascalientes) started and pitched eight innings.  He allowed five hits, one earned run, one home run, threw one wild pitch, and struck eight out.  (p-s:107-73)(g/f:10-5)


Francisco Rivera (former Palm Beach-Laguna) started as designated hitter and batted fifth.  1-for-4 with one run.


Alex Mejia (former St. Louis-Monclova) started at shortstop and batted ninth.  2-for-5 with one home run, one RBI, two runs, one strikeout, one fielding error, and assisted in two double plays.


Kevin Medrano (former MiLB signing-Mexico) entered late in the game in left field and batted fifth.  0-for-1 with one stolen base.
