Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 5-24-19: Niko Vasquez Singles, Doubles, & Drives In One Run; Francisco Rivera & Rainel Rosario Each Single & Knocks In One Run; Cedric Hunter Doubles & Walks Three Times



Cedric Hunter (former Memphis-Leon) started in right field and batted sixth.  1-for-3 with one double, three runs, and three walks.

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted second.  2-for-4 with one run, two walks, and one fielding error.

Kevin Medrano (former 2011 draft selection-Mexico) entered late in the game as a pinch runner.

Francisco Rivera (former Palm Beach-Laguna) started at first base and batted fourth.  1-for-4 with one RBI and assisted in one double play.

Laguna beat Mexico 7-5

Iker Franco (former Springfield-Oaxaca) started at catcher and batted seventh.  0-for-4 with one run, one walk, two strikeouts, assisted in one double play, and threw out one base runner.

Tijuana beat Yucatan 10-5
