Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted second.  4-for-5 with one double, two RBIs (one w/two-outs), one run, one walk, one stolen base, and one fielding error.

Aguascalientes beat Puebla 8-7 in 10 innings

Francisco Rivera (former Palm Beach-Laguna) started as designated hitter and batted fifth.  2-for-4 with one home run, two RBIs, one run, and grounded into one double play.

Laguna beat Oaxaca 6-2

Kevin Medrano (former 2011 draft selection-Mexico) started in left field and moved to second base, batting ninth.  2-for-4 with two RBIs, one walk, one strikeout, and one caught stealing.

Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Saltillo) started in right field and batted fourth.  0-for-3 with one walk.

Mexico beat Saltillo 11-3

Cedric Hunter (former Memphis-Leon) started in right field and batted sixth.  1-for-5 with one RBI and one strikeout.

Durango beat Leon 12-5

Alex Mejia (former St. Louis-Monclova) started at shortstop and batted ninth.  0-for-2 with one run, three walks, and assisted in one double play.
Fernando Salas (former St. Louis-Monclova) entered in the eighth and pitched one inning.  He allowed two hits, one earned run, two walks, and struck one out for the blown save (2).  (p-s:22-11)(g/f:1-0)
