Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted second.  1-for-3 with one two-out RBI, one run, two walks, one strikeout, and assisted in two double plays.

Aguascalientes beat Oaxaca 9-4

Francisco Rivera (former Palm Beach-Laguna) started as designated hitter and batted fifth.  1-for-3 with one two-out RBI and one intentional walk.

Puebla beat Laguna 5-3

Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Saltillo) started in right field and batted fourth.  5-for-5 with one double, one home run, two two-out RBIs, three runs, one walk, and one outfield assist.

Saltillo beat Leon 14-6

Kevin Medrano (former 2011 draft selection-Mexico) started at second base and batted seventh.  3-for-5 with one double, one home run, three RBIs (one w/two-outs), two runs, grounded into one double play, and assisted in one double play.

Mexico beat Durango 11-6

Juan Gonzalez (former Memphis-Quintana Roo) entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed three hits, one earned run, and struck two out.  (p-s:24-16)(g/f:1-0)

Dos Laredos beat Quintana Roo 3-2
