The Cardinals’ bullpen is well populated with lefthanded relievers with Andrew Miller, Brett Cecil, Chasen Shreve and Tyler Webb on the roster. Webb notably was effective Wednesday in a 4-0 loss to Atlanta, striking out two of the three hitters he faced, and Austin Gomber is a possibility, too, although he is being conditioned as a starter.
