Troy Tulowitzki, SS, free agent — Nobody knows if Tulowitzki can resume his career after two heel surgeries. As one AL executive said, “We’d have to see him work out. I haven’t heard of any plans like that so far but for teams to feel comfortable that he can play any infield position, we’d have to see how he moves.” With Didi Gregorius out, the Yankees will monitor the Tulowitzki situation. The A’s, perhaps out of the Lowrie bidding, will also consider it. Tulowitzki recently was released by the Blue Jays after missing all of 2018. The Jays ate the remaining $38 million of his contract.
