The Twins' signing of designated hitter Nelson Cruz could have a direct impact on Edwin Encarnacion, as MLB.com's Jon Paul Morosi reports that the Rays, White Sox and Astros are shifting their focus from Cruz to Encarnacion. Per Morosi, the Mariners are "increasingly confident" they will be able to trade Encarnacion before Spring Training begins.
